Fuera

A site-specific performance commissioned by Het Wallen Festival. 

‘Fuera’ explores the unfolding nature of dancing and writing as a dialogue between embodied dance languages and deep listening practices. ‘Performance-as-movement-research-as-choreography’ the piece addresses how the body generates dance languages under performative conditions as way of evoking an intuitive and authentic expression.

The piece was performed ten times over two days. The first performance began with a loose improvisational framework and slowly evolved with the last performance becoming a set choreography.
